Friendship Day will be celebrated all over the world tomorrow and people are all set to tie friendship bands on their friend’s hands. After all, friends are the only medium in our life that doesn’t have blood relations but share an emotional connection with each other. That’s why they are an important part of our lives.
Just like us, Bollywood has also been using friendship aspect in many films. Interestingly, every film in Bollywood always has a track of friendship, which is used in the story to improve the emotional narrative of the story. While watching Bollywood films, we must have gotten some friendship lessons from it which will always be helpful for us in life. So, on the occasion of friendship day, let’s take a look at those Bollywood films which have given major friendship lessons for our better life.
* College friends are for life
If we are talking about friendship and the first film which strikes in our mind is Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi’s blockbuster, ‘3 Idiots’. The Rajkumar Hirani’s film tells us a story of college friends who always stood by each other in every situation or condition. That’s why the film redefines the line – College friends are for life.
* Love Is Friendship
How can we forget Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji starrer Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for its valuable lesson of friendship? When professor Braganza asks SRK what is love then he quickly answers, Love Is Friendship! Well, this dialogue is still popular among the masses and applies to our life. After all, before falling in love with your partner, you first need to be a friend of his/her.
* Friends help you understand yourself better
We can always openly talk with friends and share each other’s every day updates. This is what Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara taught us. When Abhay Deol gets into trouble but hesitates to speak to his friends played by Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar. At that time, only they make Abhay confess what he feels about Natasha, his fiance in the film, played by Kalki Koechlin. This shows that only friends can help you to understand yourself what is better for you.
* A friend in need is a friend indeed
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is the perfect example of ‘A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed’. After all, when Titu (Sunny Singh) gets into trouble with his relationship, he quickly calls Sonu (Kartik Aaryan) to resolve their problem. Interestingly, Sonu also keeps him away from bad people and always help him to make decisions for his betterment. That’s why they say – A Friend In Need Is A Friend Indeed.
* Even if you don’t speak to each other, you get together someday
The trio of friends has always been the best thing of your life, because, when two people fight with each other, the third one tries to resolve problems between them. Well, this is the plot of Dil Chahta Hai that showed us the above-mentioned point. Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna don’t speak to each other but Saif Ali Khan tries to resolve their problem by being a mediator. In the end, the trio comes together and gives us a big lesson of being united. Notably, Dil Chahta Hai is the film which started a Goa trend among the youth.
