SHOCKING! Head Injury Marks Found On Sridevi

Injury marks have been found on the head of screen legend Sridevi, who died due to "accidental drowning" in her hotel bathtub on late Saturday night, reports Asianet News. The channel, however, has stated that it is not certain whether the marks developed after the postmortem or before it.

Initially, it was reported that Sridevi died following a cardiac arrest, a claim which was invalidated by the Dubai Forensic Department. In the autopsy report, the department clearly stated "accidental drowning" as the cause of Sridevi's death. It also ruled out the possibility of foul play thereby confirming that there was no criminal motive behind the death.

The Dubai Public Prosecution, to which the case was transferred by the police, was not convinced with the autopsy report and was probing into the matter. The department made it clear that it won't release the body until the probe was over. According to Dubai-based web portal Khaleej Times, the clearance letter has now been handed over to the Kapoor family for the body to be taken to Mumbai, where the last rites will be performed. The mortal remains are expected to reach India within the next four hours via a chartered plane.

Meanwhile, Sridevi's stepson Arjun Kapoor has arrived in Dubai to be by his father's side.

Sridevi, 54, is survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi. The actress last appeared on the silver screen in Mom that released in July last year. Aanand L Rai's Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, might be her last big screen appearance. Sridevi reportedly has a cameo role in the film.
