Here’s Why Kriti Sanon Teases Kartik Aaryan As ‘Son Of Gwalior’

Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan are coming together for a quirky romance in upcoming Dinesh Vijan’s production, Luka Chuppi. The actors seemed to bonded really well while shooting the film and it is reflecting during their promotional tour for the film. It is known that Kartik Aaryan had moved from Gwalior to Mumbai to become an actor. Years later, when he returned to the city to shoot his film Luka Chuppi, he was welcomed in a grand way.

As it turns out, the people of Gwalior call him ‘Son Of Gwalior’. And Kriti Sanon loves to tease him about it. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama about how he was given that label, she said, We call him ‘Son of Gwalior’. When we reached Gwalior, there were posters and his photo right in front of our hotel. His posters had tagline “Welcome, Son of Gwalior.” We were shooting at a fort surrounded by a lot of crowd. We were shooting some montages for a romantic song. And suddenly we hear ‘Kartik Bhaiyya ki jai.’ He waved at them also.”

To this, Kartik Aaryan responded, “I felt like a politician. I waved at them, there was a huge roar from the crowd. It was a good feeling during the shooting time. But, the posters and photo that were used, I wish I could get it changed. I was wearing glasses and posing, I have no idea what kind of pose it was. ‘We welcome Son of Gwalior’. They put garlands and all as well. So, the feeling was kind of like a politician who has returned home. There were dhols and people were dancing. So, she started calling me ‘Son Of Gwalior.’”
