Kangana Ranaut Called Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt Double Standard Person

Kangana Ranaut is someone who has often spoken against the double standards in the film industry. The actress, who is enjoying the success of her recent release Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi, has been mired in several controversies including removal of original director Krish, chopping off scenes in reshoots and much more. But, the actress is unaffected with the controversies and is now calling out industry folks for not supporting her film.

Speaking about her personal struggles at the Signature Masterclass in New Delhi, the actress addressed the controversy with Krish who has also directed Manikarnika. “I wanted to show the film to Krish Jagarlamudi in December, but he never showed up. In fact, he was so sure that the film is completely ruined. So how could anyone revive it but when I did he just couldn’t believe. He started claiming that it’s his film. Duly credited. But the question is why a media trial? Why couldn’t he have met me and raised his concerns? He never responded to any of the invites that we extended to him. If they really feel that Manikarnika is their film, they would have not gone out in public, try and attack it on such an important week. This is a proper sabotage that people tried to do. Especially Sonu (Sood), he is bound to not to talk about the film. When his contract was terminated, he was no longer a part of the film. He didn’t hold any participation in it. Hence, there are deep-rooted agendas. It’s shocking and alarming in how many ways people can exploit a situation.”

Talking about the success of the film, Kangana added, “Whatever we are today is because of heroes like her who sacrificed their lives. My sincere endeavour was to create something for people. I didn’t charge a single penny to direct. I felt absolutely devotional. I felt like I was serving the people of this nation.”

She feels that the industry folks have ganged up against the film. “Industry people are being absolutely obnoxious. They are not saying anything and ignoring it. The racket is so strong that even a small-time actor is secretly messaging me to praise the film. They don’t dare to write it on social media. That is how they have ganged up. There will be films like Mental Hai Kya or Panga, for which I wouldn’t say that I have done them for the nation. But Manikarnika was special. We stood with films like Queen, Dangal, that made an impact on the society. It is a shame that their pettiness is coming out,” she said at the masterclass.

In a recent interview, Kangana Ranaut once again called out the double standard that exists in the film industry. Speaking about her success post Queen, she asserted it was more about Vikas Bahl and Phantom Films emerging as a powerhouse with the film than about her. But, with the success of Tanu Weds Manu, she would have so many trials but the industry folks won’t show up. She went onto say that the same people call her for their trials shamelessly and she has even gone onto cancel her shoots sometimes for these events. But, it got to her so she stopped attending it.

Speaking of how Alia Bhatt had sent her Raazi trailer, and even spoke to Alia after watching the film. But the gesture was never returned during Manikarnika.

Kangana Ranaut even called out Aamir Khan and how he had invited her for Dangal and Secret Superstar and she had gone to watch it all the way to Ambani house. But, she said that these people don’t have time for the trials of her films. As she has a couple of films coming up this year, she does not expect any of them to show up.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya which is set for March 2019 release.
