Proud Of You, Papa: Karan Deol Shares Pictures From 'Gadar 2' Success Party

On Friday, actor Karan Deol delighted his fans by offering them a glimpse of the 'Gadar 2' success party. He took to Instagram to share endearing snapshots featuring his father, actor Sunny Deol, his wife Drisha Acharya, his brother Rajveer Deol, as well as Shahrukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Paloma, among other guests.

In his post, Karan expressed his pride and congratulations, saying, "Celebrating the remarkable success of #Gadar2! Proud of you, Papa, and congratulations to the entire team."

Recently, the makers of 'Gadar 2' hosted a grand success party in Mumbai, attended by prominent actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Varun Dhawan, Dharmendra, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, and Shilpa Shetty, among others.

'Gadar 2' achieved a significant milestone by crossing the Rs 500 crore mark, making it the third film to do so after 'Baahubali 2' and 'Pathaan.' Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also featured Utkarsh Sharma and Ameesha Patel in leading roles.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Gadar 2' had an impressive opening day at the box office, raking in Rs 40 crore. It became the second-highest opener of 2023, trailing only behind Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan.'

'Gadar 2' serves as a sequel to the 2001 hit film, where Sunny Deol portrayed the character of Tara, a truck driver, and Ameesha Patel played Sakina. The story was set against the backdrop of the partition of India in 1947.

Karan Deol, following in his father's footsteps, has pursued a career in acting. He made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with Sunny Deol's directorial 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.'
