PM Modi Congratulates Makers Of 'The Vaccine War' For Highlighting Importance Of Scientists

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to the creators of the recently released film 'The Vaccine War,' lauding their efforts in emphasizing the significance of scientists and scientific endeavors.
During his address at a rally in Jodhpur, where he unveiled various development projects, PM Modi shared, "I have learned of the film 'The Vaccine War,' which has been launched, portraying the unwavering dedication of our nation's scientists who toiled ceaselessly, akin to sages, in their laboratories to combat COVID. This film encapsulates all these aspects, and I commend its creators for spotlighting the vital role of scientists and science."
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film featured leading actors such as Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, and Pallavi Joshi.

'The Vaccine War' recounts the narrative of the triumphant efforts of scientists and India's 130 crore citizens in the battle against COVID-19. It provides insights into the endeavors of scientists working on the BBV152 vaccine, also known as Covaxin, developed through collaboration between Bharat Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Virology.
In the film, Nana Patekar delivers several inspiring dialogues, including one that underscores the collective commitment to the battle: "This is a war, and we are all soldiers. From today, we should see only the fish's eye, just like Arjun."
Previously, in August, special screenings of 'The Vaccine War' were conducted in the United States as part of the India for Humanity Tour.
