Television Actress Shweta Basu Prasad Engaged To Long-time Boyfriend Filmmaker Rohit Mittal

From child artiste to a gorgeous diva, actress Shweta Basu Prasad has come a long way. She recently hit the news for being engaged to her long-time boyfriend Rohit Mittal who is a filmmaker by profession. The duo had been dating for four years now decided to make it forever in Goa last year.

One lesser known fact in this relationship is that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap played cupid to bring the two together.

Surprisingly it was the leading lady Shweta who proposed Rohit. The feeling was mutual to which Rohit proposed her in Pune which is his hometown.

The couple shared their special moments on Instagram and made their fans a part of their new journey together.

Shweta is a well-known face ever since she starred in 2002’s Makdee for which she had bagged a National Award. She is also a television favourite and has worked in shows like Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Karishma Kaa Karishma.

Her recent work included as a lead in Chandra Nandini and also hit the silver screen as Varun Dhawan’s sister-in-law Urmila in Badrinath Ki Dulhania. She is all geared up for her upcoming film The Tashkent Files.
