VIDEO- ‘Thackeray’ Director Abhijeet Panse Walks Out Of Film Screening After Rift With Politician Sanjay Raut

It so happened that the screening of Thackeray which was held last night was attended by many celebrities and politicians. According to reports, Abhijeet who was accompanied by his family members reached late for the premiere. The director fumed with anger when he came to know that instead of keeping seats reserved in the last row, front row seats were kept for him and his family. This apparently irked the director who then had a verbal spat with Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut, after which he walked out of the screening leaving.

Thackeray is a biographical film of late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the eponymous person, while Amrita plays his wife. The film is scheduled for release on January 25 2019.
