Veteran actor and comedian Tiku Talsania, celebrated for his roles in over 200 films, recently expressed his current situation, describing himself as 'slightly jobless' and actively seeking new opportunities. During a recent interview, he revealed that he is eagerly waiting for suitable roles to come his way.

According to Talsania, the landscape of the industry has evolved, making it essential for actors to deeply connect with the story or character they portray to secure work. He stated, "Unless you are an integral part of the narrative or play a character deeply intertwined with the story, finding work is challenging. Presently, I find myself with some free time. I am keen to work, but the right kind of roles isn't finding its way to me."

The 69-year-old actor emphasized that he is consistently on the lookout for opportunities, utilizing the assistance of his team and an agent in his pursuit. He remains patient, acknowledging the changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, which have altered the dynamics of the industry. He explained, "If auditions are necessary, I readily participate. The post-pandemic period has disrupted the traditional working model. People have become more astute and progressive. I find the new approach to work fascinating. I am optimistic that the right projects will come my way. Additionally, I am actively reaching out, signaling that I am an actor in search of work."

Tiku Talsania, renowned for his versatility, has left an indelible mark in Bollywood. His notable films include "Andaz Apna Apna," "Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon," "Devdas," "Coolie No. 1," "Dhamaal," "Partner," "Phir Hera Pheri," "Hungama," "Raju Chacha," and "Hero No. 1," among others. His most recent appearance was in Ranveer Singh's movie, "Cirkus." Talsania has also made significant contributions to television, earning accolades for his impeccable comic timing and diverse character portrayals.
