3 Ways To Style Your Body Con Dress

An all-time favourite and flattering for every body type, a body con dress is mostly worn as a statement piece. With it, most people accessorise with minimal pieces. However, we are here to break the monotony and help you broaden your minds. By some simple methods like thinking creatively and looking at some inspirations, you can easily break the monotony of the stereotypical styles. Here are some of the many ways in which you can give your body con dresses a casual twist.
# Pairing Them Up With A Graphic Tee
A body con dress in a solid colour is something that every girl, probably, already has in her wardrobe. Match the graphics of your tee with the colour of the dress, while picking out your outfit. The simplest trick in the book is to layer the tee underneath the dress; do not worry if the graphics of the tee is showing through the neckline as this is the most attractive part of the outfit. The less simple way to use the tee is to wear it over the dress and tie it up into a knot. The messier the top, the better, as this will complement the comparatively neater bottom half of the outfit. You can even use a belt to cinch the waist and instead of knotting the tee tuck the edges into the belt.
# Accessorising The Right Way
Pairing it up with accessories that are more casual does the trick in the best possible way. Using white sneakers, or any sneakers for that matter, carrying a casual bag instead of a formal one (sling bags, bag packs, fanny packs etc.) or layering on fun and quirky jewellery can take a party wear night look to a day time casual look. Make sure to keep your make-up also minimal. After all, make up is your best accessory.
# Using Jackets
Whether its summer or winter, you can always find jackets to suit the weather. Layer a jacket onto your body con dress will turn your night look into a chic-casual one. You could even layer on a complementing shirt, or a kimono. Mix and match different patterns as per the colour and the prints on your dress and you won’t regret it. Tying a shirt around your waist also makes for a fun option too!
