Tips To Buy Perfect Pair Of Sunglasses According To Face Shape

Some fashion girls are absolutely addicted to collecting sunglasses, and we completely understand. Sunnies are the kind of thing you can justify spending on – if you buy them right, you’ll have them forever. But let’s be honest, sunglasses are not just a seasonal trend, they are an all-year-round must. Even when it’s not sunny, they are a must to protect the eyes and yes, they are also an impossibly chic way to hide those under-eye bags after a night out!
When it comes to buying sunglasses, determining your face size and shape is important because it will help you find a better fitting, more functional pair of sunglasses. Here’s a guide to help you get the perfect frames for yourself:
* Round-Shaped Face
A round-shaped face includes a narrower forehead and jawline, has soft curved edges and is sweetly spherical. If you have a round face, always opt for more angular-shaped sunglasses like square frames or wayfarers. These add definition and can naturally contour your cheekbones! Experiment and try a pair of geometrical sunglasses.
* Square-Shaped Face
A square-shaped face is usually symmetrical and proportionate. It includes a broad forehead and defined jawline. Since your face is angular, try a softening frame like a rounded pair of sunglasses. You could choose from a variety like butterfly, circular or aviator style sunglasses. A cat-eye frame with its sides that curve upwards will also draw the eye up or experiment by opting thick frames that appear heavier on the face.
* Oval-Shaped Face
This face shape includes a face that is longer than wide and includes a more narrow forehead and jawline. With your facial structure, you are free to experiment with all types of shades. Go all out and experiment with all kinds of shapes – mirrored, over-sized frames, heart-shaped or even eye-catching circular sunnies. Please note that frames should not be wider than the face’s broadest point.
* Heart-Shaped Face
This face shape usually has prominent cheekbones and includes a broad forehead. A classic pair of cat-eye frames is ideal for this face shape as their upward angle is parallels to the outline of the bottom half of your face and cheekbones. People who don’t like experimenting with that shape can choose an aviator frame. It’s best to mimic your face shape, which is exactly what aviators do.
