Avoid hot water (the temperature of tea or coffee we usually prefer); instead go for a glass of lukewarm water, add 1 tsp raw salt in it and gargle. You will get relief within 5 minutes.

Green tea is an excellent source of antioxidants which will help your throat to heal better. Add a spoonful or two of raw honey. Raw honey has amazing antibacterial and healing properties. The combination of the two will help one get rid of infection-causing agents. Drink warm, don’t let your cuppa turn cold.
# Consume Adequate Fluids
It is difficult to gulp down food and/or even liquid when your throat is paining and screaming for mercy! Despite that, keep consuming fluids. An adequate amount of fluid-intake will help you hydrated and other bodily fluids in your body are in good condition to help you heal better.
