Ayurvedic Ways To Treat Weight Loss

The world has come to recognize India’s ancient and ages old system of medicine, called ayurveda, to be an effective method for weight loss. As we grow older, the fat in our body tends to become more stiff or stubborn and it becomes very hard to shed that as even exercise does not remain an effective method. The ayurvedic method is more like a home remedy that targets the fat cells and boosts your metabolism up so that your body burns calories faster. It is safe and completely organic. The results are long term and do not have any side effects.
The first step is to find out if you have any toxin and the level of toxicity. Ayurveda has certain ingredients that are powerful fat fighters and will show impressive results if followed properly. They help not only to lose weight but also help in maintaining your weight.
# Lemon:
Lemon is a powerful ingredient that helps the body to burn fats faster. Add a lemon to your regular diet starting with your morning tea and food. It cleanses your system the strongest and the quickest. Citric intolerant people have to take a backseat on this one.
# Triphala:
It is an ayurvedic herb which is a combination of three dried Indian fruits, Amalaki, Haritaki and Bibhitaki. Amalaki is a natural anti-oxidant; Haritaki supports the body’s natural cleansing process and helps in the functioning of the colon and Bibhitaki helps reducing the accumulation of fat and fluids in your body. Triphala is better and it’s easier for you to consume it in a tablet form.
# Curry powder:
Adding curry powder to each meal is an effecting way of combining the six tastes that ayurveda speaks about, which helps to improve digestion and melt stored fat in your body. Either cook your food with curry powder or just sprinkle it over your food.
# The detoxifying Tea:
This tea is a combination of effective ingredients that help to break down fat, improve digestion and increase metabolism. Add half a teaspoon of the following to a liter of boiling water-
Whole cumin seeds
And, Whole coriander seeds
Whole fennel seeds
Then strain the seeds out and store this in a flask. Sip this liquid, warm, throughout the day.
# Eat wise:
What is unique about this diet is that you don’t excessively cut out on calories but you just change the time when you consume the most of it. Consume 50% of your calories at lunch. According to this medicinal system, lunch is the most important meal of the day because it is during this time that your digestive fire or ‘agnee’ is the strongest. Consume the least of your calorie intake at night as the fire is weakest at the end of the day.
# Water:
Drink sufficient water throughout the day. It is water that maintains the balance of all elements in your body and keeps it working actively. Your metabolism is bound to spike up if you are well hydrated and it becomes easier to flush toxins out of the body. Plus water helps to break and melt fat down easing its burning.
