* The Shaniwarwada Fort
Shaniwarwada is one of the most Haunted places in Pune. This palace, built in 18th century by Peshwa of Maratha Empire in Pune. Though this place is known for its historical importance and definitely one of the most popular tourist destinations in Pune. Yet it is famous for its spookiness too. This fort represents political intrigue, brutal murder and a lingering voice haunting people till date. Raghunathrao who was the uncle of Bajirao II sent a message to the Gardi Guards to get hold of Narayanrao. Narayanrao was the son of Bajirao II.
* The Haunted house of MG Road, Pune
Opposite to water office on MG road, there lays old and abandoned Haunted place in Pune. This creepy house hasn’t been lived in for no one knows how long and there is an air of mystery which surrounds this place. It is believed that a young lady was killed there by burning her alive and her cries, shrieks, screams and blood-curdling giggles from this house. After the death of the lady, the house becomes the possession of some revengeful spirits.
* Sinhgad College of Engineering
In the Sinhagad college is another one of Haunted places in Pune there are many cases of students committing suicide in the college.A 20-year-old engineering student fell to death near Amrutanjan Bridge, Khandala, on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, who had committed suicide. He was failed in four subjects of his second-year mechanical engineering course at Sinhgad Institute of Technology. The mental stress prompted him to take such a drastic step.
* The Sinhagad Fort
Due to the geographical situation, Sinhagad fort in Pune played an important role in history. Sometimes the fort repeats its history at night as local villagers vouch for hearing war cries from inside the fort late at night. People living near the fort have reported the crying, laughing and many other ghastly disturbances at night. The presence of dead soldiers with their horses marches in the darkness. People have reported the strange phenomenon in the same location where very mystifying school bus accident took place. The sharp blind turn resulted in near about 60 children and some teachers in the mouth of death. Not even one survived.
* The Choice Hostel, Karve Road
Choice hostel in Pune is a very good and most expensive hostel for boys. But in the night there is a vibe of depression and spookiness. The lady in the red sari wanders in the hostel corridors every Saturday night. Many students encountered her, they mentioned she wore a red sari. She never harmed anyone and many students have seen her face in the bathroom mirror.
