Indian road network has approximately 1324 km of expressways and 25 are under construction. National Expressways Authority of India has approved seven new expressways, few of them are 124 km long Kanpur Metropolitan Bypass,111 km Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor,Biju Expressway,Chennai ORR and the longest under construction Ganga Expressway of 1047 km in Uttar Pradesh.
* Agra Lucknow Expressway
Agra Lucknow Expressway in Uttar Pradesh is the longest expressway in India, followed by Yamuna Expressway. The 302 kms controlled access super highway becomes the longest expressway in India and 8 Indian Air Force fighter jets successfully landed on Agra-Lucknow expressway for opening of longest expressway in the country.

After the inauguration of Agra Lucknow Expressway, The 165 km long Yamuna Expressway will be second longest access controlled expressway in India. The 6 lane can be extendable to 8 lanes expressway starts from Greater Noida and connect Agra and was the India’s longest controlled-access expressway stretch.
* Hyderabad ORR
Outer Ring Road expressway of Hyderabad has been developed to encircle the City of Hyderabad. The 158 km long 8 lane ring road expressway improve the connectivity Greater Hyderabad and built by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.
* Mumbai Nashik Expressway

* Western Peripheral Expressway
