# SHILP MELA
It is a handicraft and handlooms fair with many different stalls of food from different parts of the world. This fair organized mainly before and during winter from September to December on several gaps. This fair is one of the most favorite fairs of the people as it has stalls of many decorative items, handmade clothes, ornaments, chocolates, shoes, carpet, etc along with the cultural programs in which every kind of artist is allowed to take part.
# CHOWK
Chowk is a market place with hundreds of shops on roadsides and in narrow galleries. You will be able to find everything at this place from your favorite book to your favorite jewelry and that too in your budget. Even the street food is mouth-watering which you will definitely like to have after hours of shopping.
# LOKNATH
Loknath is Our former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s favorite place where they used to have their dear mini masala samosa. Even our other former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee kept coming to this food lane to have mooti choor ke laddoo. This place has its own aura with yellow old Havelis round and you will feel like you have stepped into the early 90s.
# PHAPHAMAU BRIDGE
It is an old Bridge made on the instructions of Lord Curzon, thus it is also called as Lord Curzon Bridge. This Bridge was used for the trains to pass but now it is closed as it is not in use anymore. Young people visit here very often as they find this place very fascinating and perfect for clicking pictures. A scene from the movie “Shadi mei zaroor ana” is also shot here.
# ARAIL GHAT
It is a pleasant ghat with less crowd and the whole place is surrounded by a river on right and farms on the left with few old houses and temples. It is a great place to spend time with your loved ones while having a short drive with a road covered with trees and enjoying the beauty of nature. You will mostly find students on the riverside enjoying themselves.
# NAINI BRIDGE
It is a hanging bridge on wires just like one in Kolkata. In the evening people come here to see the drowning sun in the river and to get some fresh air. Mostly people like to take selfies here.
