# Chehni Kothi

Located 7 km from Banjar in the village of Chehni, this fort was once the residence of King Raja Rana Dhadia and dates back 1500 years. Standing at a height of 15 feet, the fort's tower was damaged by an earthquake in 1905, prompting ongoing restoration efforts by local residents.

Within the fort, one tower houses the Bhagwati Temple, while another tower accommodates the Shringa Rishi Temple. These temples are separated by a courtyard, with the deity of the Tirthan-Banjar Valley enshrined in the latter.
