Parondi Hills Will Make You Get Lost Without A Map

Parondi Hills, is situated on the peak of a mountain which is 2 km from Bharmour bus stand. The place is surrounded by High Mountain peaks & some mountain peaks are fully covered with Deodar trees forming dense forest. During winter season the mountains are covered with snow, and when the snow starts melting in summers it provides a grazing area to nomadic shepherds, known as Gaddi. View of a glacier, which remains frozen almost 9 month in a year, can be seen right from our property.

Bharmour, formally known as Brahmapura, was the ancient capital of Chamba district, India. It is situated at an altitude of 7000 feet in the Budhi valley. Distance from Chamba to Bharmour is 64 km & from Pathankot (Nearest railway station) it is 175km. Bharmour is known for its raw scenic beauty still untouched by tourist and for its ancient temples. Bharmour, also known as Shiv Bhumi, preserves some of the oldest temples belonging to 10th century.

This place is something with least of explanations and more of scenic views. You might not be able to find it over your map easily, but yes this beautiful places exists to be explored.
