# The Colosseum of Rome

The Roman Colosseum is one of the best creations of the Roman’s. This 21-century old monument is the largest amphitheatre in the world and an absolute treat to our eyes which will remain forever in our memories. It has a capacity to accommodate 50,000 people who used to spectate the gladiator combats. The Colosseum had underground complexes known as hypogeum which caged the gladiator warriors and animals. The Rose City of Petra is an ancient city in Jordan carved into red rocks of Petra and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The moment you see the city, you will have a question popping as if the city was carved from a dream. It is such a beauty known for its rock-cut architecture. This art deco statue of Jesus Christ is a symbol of Christianity around the world and remains as an iconic landmark of Brazil and Rio. This statue is 30 metres tall and 28 metres wide. Located at top of the 700 metres tall Corcovado mountain in Tijuca Forest National Park, which is watching over the city of Rio de Janeiro. Christ the Redeemer statue never fails to give a heavenly feeling to the visitors.

# Taj Mahal

And here, we have come to the final wonder among the 7 Wonders of the world. Taj Mahal is undoubtedly one of the best monuments in the world and the pride of India. Built by the Mughal king, Shah Jahan for his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, It is one of the historical places in India you should visit.

Most importantly this structure stands as an epitome of love. It took about 22 years and 20,000 workers to construct Taj Mahal, which includes an immense garden with a reflecting pool. The mausoleum is full of white marble that displays semiprecious stones in a geometric & floral pattern of shapes. Taj Mahal always remains as a symbol of love and a universally admired masterpiece.
