# Best time to visit Vaishno Devi Mandir

Regardless of the season, Vaishno Devi consistently attracts visitors. The optimal time to explore is in the summer, when the mountain weather is ideal. However, if you plan to visit during the monsoon or winter, be mindful of the unpredictable weather conditions. Days of significance such as New Year’s Eve, Navratras, summer vacations, or festivals draw substantial crowds, leading to extensive waiting times. It is advisable to avoid planning your visit during these peak periods.

# Travel Smart

Consider your time of visit and ensure you have appropriate attire. For winter trips, pack gloves, scarves, and warm clothing to stay cozy. Additionally, wear comfortable shoes, even if trekking is not on your agenda. In summer, opt for lightweight cotton attire to combat the intense brightness of the sun.
