Soak the piece in 7UP for 10 minutes and remove it. Run the piece through running water and scrub it a bit if you feel the dirt has not been removed properly.

5. Use boiling water only if you do not have stone studded jewellery. If your piece is plain gold or silver without any stone or pearl studded in it, then leave the piece in boiling water for 3-5 minutes and run it through warm running water.
