While you might be a foodie and in love with cooking but burnt utensils and unwashed dishes never make a great site in the kitchen and they are one of those propelling reasons that keep you off cooking, right? It is difficult to get rid of food stains from burnt utensils and even if you use the best dishwashing soap available in the market, the scrubbing makes you tired and the result of your labours is also not encouraging. Here are some easy tips to clean your burnt utensils quickly.
* Wine
Pour some aged wine on the burnt pan and allow it to rest for sometime. After a few minutes, you may notice the black stains disappear.
* Vinegar
Fill the burnt vessel with water and add 1 cup of vinegar to it. Let it sit overnight. In the morning, clean the vessel with regular soap.
* Salt
Boil some water with a good dose of salt to loosen burnt food bits. Then scrub the vessel with a little more salt.
* Onion
Fill the burnt vessel with water. Drop 5 to 6 onion skins (outer layer of the onion) in the water and heat on high flame and close the lid. Boil for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove from the stove and clean the surface with normal soap.
* Hot water
When the food is burnt in the vessel, immediately pour in hot water and let it soak for half an hour. It will help loosen up all the burnt food bits.
