With the digitization of world, the scope of online shopping has also sppeded up. From big house to a pin, you can buy everything online. The best part of it is you dont need to waste ample of hours wondering on streets or malls to buy simplest of things. The life has become very lazy as well as convenient with online shopping. But do know many a times online shopping too becomes a curse. The cases of duplicate products or broken things have also paced up. So, here is a list of few things that you should avoid buying online.
* Babysitters
I have seen working parents do it. But I cannot help myself but wonder if, they should physically meet the total stranger with whom they are assigning the safety and care of their children, before they actually entrust a stranger with the safety and care of their children.
* Reading Glasses
It is probably not at all a difficult task to fill out the prescription online and order a brand new spec, but, either you have the world’s most fussy face or glasses are really hard to pick out. I would love the ease of glasses delivered to my home, but then who will answer me when I ask, “Do these glasses look bigger than my face?”
* Bras
Sure you all have your pet brand and size, but never forget that with time and children you have to manage a shifting bra size. You should go and get your bras in person to wear one which actually cups your actual breast size. Otherwise, you might know well what a bad bra can do to your breasts!
* Jeans
You almost cannot control your urge to order down those good-looking Levis pairs when you see them deeply discounted online. In your mind, those super skinny jeans look cool on you. But in reality you will find it hard to button up your waist. Remember the last time you went into an actual store to buy a fresh new pair of jeans. Did you just went in, lifted a pair, and go on your merry way? If so, then you are truly blessed. Because the majority of us cannot find so much ease to get a right pair so quickly. We spend hours trying pair after pair until we find that perfect combination that fits us length wise, width wise and make our assess look good. If you think you can skip this painful process only by clicking a button, then you may find yourself struggling into a pair of jeans that won’t go down your knees, which would be frustrating. So since jeans are tough to fit, I prefer not ordering mine online, and neither should you.
* Pets
All pets look cute online, however, in person they could actually be no cuter. You might end up receiving some different kind of mixed breed than what your biased seller promised you. Also, the seller might not himself be fully aware of what all vaccinations were given to the animal, and what all traits and habits does it possess. So if I’m going to get a pet, at all, I’ll be checking it out in person before I carry it home for my lads to play with.
* Grocery
I know ordering groceries online is all the rage, despite the fact that local grocery stores are cheaper. People have become so much lazy that they don’t even want to visit their nearby grocery store to get a fresh bunch of their veggies and fruits. But while purchasing them online you don’t get an option of choosing among the lot to get your brightest, smelliest and softest of vegetables and fruits in the store. And sometimes you may also get a bag full of bruised fruit. And we all know there’s no possible way to get a child to eat a fruit with a bruise.
* Prescription Drugs
I have seen people searching for a pill to cure a particular disease or illness on Google and then ordering it from an online drugstore, instead of visiting a doctor because of some fear of humiliation or embarrassment. But, when it comes to stuff that you have to put into your body and that has the potential to kill you if used otherwise, you should probably spend the extra 10 minutes to get the right information you need.
