8 Tips To Clean Jewellery

With the end of wedding season,  it is time to pack your heavy & traditional jewellery. But do not do so without cleaning them properly, otherwise you may permanently damage their shine & polish.

Use soft cloth and a mild soap in water to clean the jewellery.

When not in use, keep your precious pieces clean and dry to keep away the moisture.

Don’t keep all the type of jewellery in a single box. Maintain separate boxes for Gold, Silver, Diamond and Gemstone jewellery.

Keep away your jewellery from chemicals/ alcohols, perfumes, creams etc.

Don’t enter the pool with your gold jewellery on, to avoid discoloration.

Use Vodka to clean those expensive diamonds.

To clean silver jewellery use a mixture of charcoal and washing powder.

You can alternately clean them by boiling in hot water with baking soda and a piece of foil paper.
