Ingredients
1 cup Bajra flour
1/2 cup Whole wheat flour
1/2 cup Powdered jaggery
1/4 cup Ghee
1/4 cup Milk
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
A pinch of salt
Method
- In a mixing bowl, add Bajra flour, whole wheat flour, powdered jaggery, baking powder, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well.
- Add ghee to the dry ingredients mixture and rub it well with your fingertips until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Now, add milk gradually and knead the dough gently. The dough should not be too soft or too hard.
- Cover the dough and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a greased baking tray. Flatten the balls gently with your palm.
- Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool down completely.
