Recipe- Perfect Addition To Winter Cocktail Pomegranate Margarita

This pomegranate margarita is a festive twist to the classic margarita, perfect for the holidays! It’s beautifully hued, naturally sweet, and the perfect addition to your winter cocktail collection. Pomegranate season may be short, but their sweetness goes a long way in a variety of recipes. Mix the seeds into a pomegranate guacamole. Bake them into a pear, pomegranate and maple crumble. Sprinkle them onto a roasted delicata squash salad. And last but not least, infuse them into a cocktail just in time for the holidays.

Ingredients

1 cup pomegranate juice
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup orange liqueur (triple sec)
1/4 cup lime juice
ice
Garnish: margarita salt, pomegranate arils, and lime slices, for garnish

Method

* If you'd like, salt the rim of your glass. Stir together the tequila, orange liqueur, pomegranate juice and lime juice in a small pitcher.

* Pour the pomegranate margarita into a glass full of ice. Garnish with lime slices, and fresh pomegranate arils.
