2 dried red chilies
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon oil

- In a large mixing bowl, rinse the poha in running water for a few seconds. Drain the water completely and let the poha sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft and moist.
- Heat the oil in a large pan on medium heat. Once hot, add the peanuts and roast them until golden brown. Remove the peanuts from the pan and keep them aside.
- In the same pan, add the chana dal and roast it until golden brown. Remove the chana dal from the pan and keep it aside.
- Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dried red chilies, and curry leaves to the same pan and let them crackle for a few seconds.
- Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the pan and mix well.
- Add the soaked and drained poha to the pan and mix well to coat the poha with the spice mixture. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
