Everyone likes Chinese dishes like Chowmin, Chili Potato, Momos or Manchurian etc. All these dishes look very tasty and that is why today we have brought Veg Manchurian Recipe for you today. In this article, we are going to tell you the step by step recipe of making Manchurian. Also, it is very easy to make this recipe at home, so without any delay, let us tell you the recipe of Veg Manchurian.
If you are a vegetarian then you too will love this Manchurian recipe. You can make this recipe for the guests when they come or if you want, you can make it for dinner or even during the day. Even if you have a special occasion here, you can still make this recipe. So let us tell you what are the things you need to make Manchurian.
Ingredients
Flour – 4 tbsp
Corn Flour – two tablespoons
Capsicum – finely chopped 1/4 cup
Carrot – 1 cup, finely chopped
Cabbage – 1 cup, finely chopped
Onion – finely chopped cup
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Green chili – 2 to 4
Oil – for frying
For Gravy
Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
White vinegar – one teaspoon
Green chili and ginger paste – 1 tbsp
Black / white chili – as per taste
Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
Corn starch – 11/2 tbsp
Oil – two tablespoons
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Method
* In a bowl add finely chopped vegetables, corn flour, all purpose flour, salt, ginger and green chilies and mix it well.
* Now make small Manchurian balls from them and if your balls are breaking then add a little more corn flour to it and make balls after that. At least 16 balls can be made from this material.
* Now put oil in a pan, heat it and deep fry the Manchurian balls on medium to high flame till they turn golden brown. It takes at least 3 to 4 minutes to fry the Manchurian and now place the fried balls on tissue paper.
For Gravy
* First of all, mix corn starch in half a cup of water and keep this solution aside.
* Now heat a little oil in a pan and add ginger and green chili paste and fry it for 30 seconds.
* Now add the above mentioned ingredients to it and mix it while stirring it well and cook it for at least 3 to 4 minutes.
* Now put Manchurian balls in it and your Vegetable Manchurian (Veg Manchurian) is ready.
