5 Ways To Move Over Your Breakup

If you’ve just gone through a rough breakup and are finding it hard to stop thinking about *him*, this article is just for you. These steps may take you a while to achieve but fret not, time heals everything.
* Stop talking to him
Yes, you might still have feelings for him but it would hurt less if you stopped talking to him. Give yourself and him some space. Avoid face-to-face interactions and delete their number, try not to be in touch with them as far as possible. However, if you have the same class or just happen to bump into each other often, be cordial and don’t maintain an extensive conversation.
* Don’t blame yourself
The breakup happened for a reason. Don’t blame yourself for it, you’re not at fault. That doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to grieve the lost relationship. It’s normal to cry and let all your emotions flow, but never have a thought that it was caused by you. Have a positive mindset and expect greater things in the future.
* Avoid stalking him online
Social media has made it so easy for us to keep up with other people’s lives, however, it is more of a curse than a blessing. Although it may be hard, you will have to unfriend and delete him on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram etc. and tell your friends to avoid talking about him in your company. The more you exclude him from your life, the easier it will be for you to get over him.
* Find a hobby
Finding a new hobby can help you take your mind off of the recent unfortunate events so go ahead and pursue a passion, such as painting, reading, writing, the possibilities are endless! You could also learn a new language to keep yourself preoccupied.
* Meet new people
Go out and mingle with people, be it boys or girls. Since you just got out of a relationship, it would be a bad idea to have casual hookups at the moment and would only leave you feeling miserable later. Just focus on going out and having fun, or meet people online if that’s more of your thing! Mingle on online forums and groups and get to know more people, you’ll feel much better about yourself!
