Celebrating Holi for the first time with your new family is a great joy in itself.There would be so much of emotions going on your mind.You must be thinking of spending good time with your family. But, You will finally come out of your cocoon of the shy bride.This is for sure that you must have enjoyed many Holis with your family, but this Holi would be different with your Husband and his family.
Being the newly wed, if it’s your first Holi after wedding. Then this festival is an auspicious occasion for the Bride. Holi celebration would not be the ordinary celebration when you are newly married. It has the certain degree of importance attached to it.
There would be many tips and tricks to celebrate the First Holi after marriage,let’s look at some of them!
1.Get up in the morning and wear traditional dress. If possible, you can gather everybody in the drawing room and perform a simple pooja.
2.Occasions like Holi are the best to make friends.So,you can make it easier by making freinds with the family members.
3.Generally on holi we wear rejected clothes but Being the new bride, everybody’s eyes are on you. So,Wear something beautiful and accessorize yourself. Try to look your best.
4.Many relatives and neighbors may come to your house to wish you this Holi, it’s an amazing opportunity for social gathering with your extended family.
5.Apart from making your family happy, it’s important to take care of your skin and hair. Make sure you apply sunscreen before stepping out in the garden for playing Holi. Oil you hair with coconut oil to save them from damage.
6.A Holi celebration is bound to have music and dancing. This is the time to gel up with your husband and play with Holi colors.
7.Holi parties can also be a good excuse to get a bit tipsy. However, being your first Holi celebration, you must be a little careful. There is every chance of friends suggesting you to taste their version of bhaang. Go ahead and indulge yourself, but not to the extent of passing out! Also, make sure that your husband is always involved or knows what you are doing.
