45-year-old Woman Hires Three Men, Including Sons, To Murder Loaner She Took Rs 14 Lakh From In Delhi

A 45-year-old woman was arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly hiring three men, including her sons, for murdering another woman from whom she took loan. The woman from whom the accused took loan was pressurising her to repay loan of Rs 14 lakh.

According to DNA, the incident took place on Friday at around 7.15 am. The body of the woman was found near a bus stand on Deshbandhu Gupta Road. The woman’s hand and legs were tied. The cops later identified the deceased woman as Roshna alias Rekha (29), who is a resident of Than Singh Nagar in Anand Prabhat. The cops recovered a mobile phone on which the deceased had received a call from an unknown number. Later, after investigating, the cops found that the number belonged to Urmila (accused).

Later, the cops detained Urmila for questioning, during which she admitted her involvement in the killing. During interrogation, Urmila told cops that she had borrowed Rs 14 lakh from the deceased six months before and was finding it hard to repay it. Rekha (deceased) was pressurising Urmila to repay the loan, that is when Urmila hatched a plan to kill her.

Urmila further told cops that in order to kill Rekha she hired a man named Hemant Jain, who was known to her, and offered him Rs 2 lakh to kill Rekha. The accused also roped in her two sons, Shubham and Sumit, in the killing. Urmila called Rekha to her house on Thursday, where the four tied Rekha and strangled her to death. Later, they wrapped her body in bed sheet and dumped the body near a bus-stop.
