After Exit poll raises excitement with the predicted result, all eyes will be on the final result of the Telangana elections which will come out on December 11. The results are crucial as it is seen as a weather vane to upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This year, the state went for early elections as KCR resigned months before completing his term.
There are four opposition parties in Telangana this year, with Congress, TDP, CPI and TJS joining hands together and forming the ‘Mahakootami’ (Grand Alliance) with an aim to beat the ruling TRS. Meanwhile, as per the Exit polls, TRS have an edge despite Congress’ grand alliance with the other parties. The state will witness a three-sided fight between Congress and Others, TRS and BJP.
