Bakrid 2018- Eid Al-Adha Dry Night Announced In Dubai

Eid al-Adha is happening next week, and next Sunday (August 19) is set to be a dry night.
From 6.30pm on Sunday until 7.30pm on Monday, the city will be dry.
Eid is expected to fall on Tuesday August 21 and run until Friday August 24.

Their break from work will last the whole week from Sunday, August 19 to Thursday, August 23. Holidays for private sector workers are yet to be announced. However, it is looking likely they will receive a few days off work to mark the important holiday.
In celebration there will be several events going on throughout the city, including fireworks.
This Eid, there’ll be two sets of dazzling firework displays over two consecutive days at Dubai Festival City Mall. The displays are provisionally planned for Wednesday August 22 and Thursday August 23 (subject to the Eid announcement) and will take place at 9.30pm and 10.30pm on both days at Festival Bay. From Wednesday August 22 until Saturday August 25 there will also be roaming entertainment throughout the mall with street entertainers roving around showing off their best moves.
There will also be fireworks at The Beach, La Mer and Al Seef to celebrate Eid.
The three popular waterfront spots will all be putting on special fireworks to mark the occasion. The fireworks will take place at 8.30pm at The Beach, 9pm at Al Seef and 9.30pm at La Mer each evening from Tuesday August 21 until Thursday 23.. So whether you’re dining or wandering around at Festival City, the beachfront, or the Creek you’ll be able to catch a pretty stunning show.
