A huge festival is coming to Bristol this month in celebration of the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Adha.
Taking place in Netham Park, in Barton Hill and inner-city area of Bristol, families are invited to attend between 12pm and 6pm on August 21, 2018.
Organisers plan on it being a fun-packed family friendly event with bouncy castles, bumper cars, food stalls, henna and team building games going on throughout the day.
Sakariya Syedomar, chair of United Youth Bristol, said: "The festival is all about bringing people together, from different countries, from all cultures and faiths. That is what the young people from United Youth Bristol wanted to do.
"This is the first Eid festival organised in Bristol and we really wanted to bring Eid to Bristol instead of people leaving to go to London or Birmingham. We really want people to come together and learn from each other.
"It will be really fun, and we want everyone and anyone to come, we are expecting hundreds of people. There will be food from different cultures and music, so muslim, non-muslim, everyone can join in together."
Many local groups have been involved in bringing the party together, including the Barton Hill Settlement community space, Bristol Somali Forum, Bristol City Council, Bristol Stars and food and drink establishments Star Coffee and Pepe's Piri Piri.
