Humanity Died After A Fight Over Seat In Train

In a yet another incident of fight over seats in trains, a 30-year-old man and his friend were allegedly thrown out of a moving train. The incident happened on Saturday night in a Mathura-bound train when the victims Devender and Lalit who work as labourers in a factory in Ballabgarh were attacked. While Devender (29) died on the spot, Lalit is still undergoing treatment.
According to a report by the Indian Express, the accused Mohit, Vipin, and Muniket are students who were travelling to Agra. They have been arrested and are being questioned by the police while a fourth accused is still at large.
In August, Minister of State for Railways, Rajen Gohain told Lok Sabha that 351 cases of fighting and quarrel with passengers in trains have been reported since January. However, there was no figure about the number of fatalities or injuries these quarrels have led to.
