Jawaharlal Nehru cannot be Pandit as he used to eat beef and pork says BJP MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja

BJP MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja has stirred controversy again with his words. Ahuja, who represents Alwar’s Ramgarh assembly constituency, and made derogatory comments against first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. While interacting with media, Ahuja said that Nehru cannot be called a Pandit because he used to consume beef and pork. Have a look at the video below.

However, this is not the first time that Ahuja has made objectionable comments on something. Earlier, he sparked controversy while making comments on the lynching cases occurred in Alwar district, Rajasthan due to cow vigilantism. Ahuja said that cow slaughtering is bigger crime than terrorism because cows are treated as mothers in India. Any misbehaviour with them cannot be tolerated.

Earlier in February 2016, when the JNU was seeing protests from students, Ahuja said that JNU has become a place for anti-nationals and students dance naked in the night during cultural programmes. He also said that 3,000 condoms and anti-pregnancy injections were used daily at the campus.
