Maratha Reservation Protests: Protester Jagannath Sonavne Who Attempted Suicide Yesterday, Dies In A Hospital

Jagannath Sonavne, a protester who attempted suicide by consuming poison yesterday in Aurangabad’s Deogaon Rangari, dies in a hospital. He was a protester in the agitation for reservation for Maratha community in govt jobs & education.

Woman alleges she was raped by 4 people, including her husband, in the name of Nikah Halala, says ‘After my husband gave me triple talaq, I was married off to someone else for 3 months but he later married another woman.’ Police have registered case against 9 people.
