Mumbai Weather Update on August 8 / IMD says city likely to receive light to moderate rainfall today

Mumbai will witness cloudy sky with the possibility of light to moderate rainfall today, with a relative humidity of about 89% in Santacruz and 873% in Colaba. The air quality index (AQI) for PM2.5 pollutants – was 31 (Good) on Saturday morning.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that light to moderate rainfall is expected today over Mumbai. The IMD Mumbai in its weather forecast stated that the maximum temperature in Santacruz will be 30.3°C, while the minimum temperature will be 25.4°C. On the other hand, the maximum temperature in Colaba will be 29°C, while the minimum temperature will be 26°C.

The weather bureau forecasted that the maximum temperature in the city on Monday will be 31°C, while the minimum temperature will be 25°C.

Meanwhile, the IMD has predicted that the intensity of rains will pick up next week and has put up a 'watch out' (Yellow Alert) for Mumbai and Thane for August 11.
