Rajkumar Rao Starrer Behen Hogi Teri Trailer Is Out

Anurag Kashyap shared the first trailer of Rajkummar Rao’s Behen Hogi Teri late on Monday. Directed by Ajay K Pannalal and backed by Amul Mohan, the movie stars Shruti Haasan opposite Rao.

Rajkummar plays a middle class boy, Gattu, who is in love with a neighbourhood girl (Shruti aka Binni) and is fighting the society’s perception that “mohalle ki ladkiyan maa-behen hoti hain.” When someone named Rahul impresses the girl’s family, a drunk Rajkummar tells his friend, “Rahul naam ke ladke haraamkhoir kyu hote hain? Wo film thi jo, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Usme Salman bhai ki ladki kaun le gaya? Rahul. Dil To Pagal Hai me Akshay bhai ki ladki kaun le gaya? Rahul. Ab se har picture me hero ka naam hoga, Gattu. No Rahul!”
