Here Is How You Can Make Call Recording On IPhone IOS 18.1

Apple has begun the rollout of the fifth developer beta for iOS 18, introducing a significant change: the native ability to record voice calls on iPhones. Previously, this feature was exclusive to iPhones that qualified for Apple Intelligence. With this latest beta version, Apple has confirmed that call recording will now be available on all iPhones eligible for the iOS 18 update.

Similar to Android phones equipped with the Google dialer, users on iPhones running iOS 18.1 can now record calls. To ensure transparency, Apple will notify users when a call is being recorded, and all recordings will be saved in the Notes app.

Additionally, users can permanently disable call recording through the settings menu. Unlike some Android devices, there is no option for automatic call recording; users must initiate the recording for each individual call they wish to save.

Apple enables iPhone users with iOS 18.1 or later to record phone calls natively, without the need for third-party apps. It's important to note that the iOS 18.1 update is currently in beta and is anticipated to be available for all eligible devices in the coming weeks.

To record a call, simply tap the audio wave icon located in the top right corner of the call menu. After selecting it, there will be a brief delay of about two to three seconds before the recording starts, accompanied by an announcement that the call is being recorded. Once the call ends, you can access the recording in the Notes app. Additionally, the call menu displays a moving audio wave bar to indicate that recording is in progress.

For iPhones equipped with Apple Intelligence, these voice recordings can be automatically transcribed in the Notes app. However, on other devices, there is no option to transcribe the recorded audio calls.
