WhatsApp Starts Testing Sticker Pack Sharing Feature On IOS And Android

WhatsApp has started rolling out two new features to beta testers, enabling improved sharing and messaging options. Users on the latest beta versions of WhatsApp for iOS and Android can now share sticker packs installed on their devices, a feature first spotted a month ago. With this update, users can select a sticker pack and share it with another WhatsApp user, allowing them to install the same pack on their device.
To access this feature, testers must update to WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.2 or newer and WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.24.10.72 via the Google Play Beta Program and TestFlight. Once updated, users will notice a new three-dot button in the sticker section. Clicking this button displays two options: "Send" and "Remove." Selecting "Send" generates a link to the sticker pack, enabling users to share it directly. For now, this feature is limited to sticker packs available within WhatsApp. WABetaInfo, a feature-tracking platform, has confirmed this functionality through screenshots of the built-in 'Cuppy' sticker pack being shared on both iOS and Android.
Another feature introduced in the beta allows users to add a message while forwarding media. Available in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.3, this feature provides a message field that appears after users select recipients during forwarding.
Gadgets 360 could not test either feature on the specified beta versions or on newer testing builds, such as WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.25.12, suggesting a phased rollout of these updates.
